My personal experience
My father subjected me to incidents of domestic abuse during my early years, which is where it all began. When I was a child, I was the target of bullying and persistent harassment from peers. That circumstance thus caused my stress and rage to grow over time. Growing up didn’t get any better; I was always getting upset when I had to deal with someone who was trying my patience.
However, everything changed one day, and I once again began to take charge of my life. I was less anxious and upset over someone or something. I’ve at last mastered the ability to regulate my feelings and emotions. By using some straightforward yet powerful methods to me, I was able to better regulate my emotions.
I used to become upset and nervous when I was late for a meeting or job. As a result, I would appear unprofessional to others, particularly if I was caught in traffic. I’ve been able to drive more calmly lately, believing that sometimes life just gets in the way and not me. I keep my attention on the road while listening to music to help me forget about the traffic issue.
The positive change
I now want to use that event to learn about my emotions and myself. I wish to assist others in achieving the same level of liberty and tranquility. I must admit that I’m currently close to finish the course that will qualify me as a counselor. I will soon be able to practice, which will undoubtedly improve my methods and techniques by bringing in additional knowledge, expertise, and experience. The experts have previously tested the strategies that I will use nevertheless.
I should also mention that while my methods and approaches can help you work through your problems, they are not the same as those used by a therapist. In fact, I advise seeing a therapist if your symptoms demand for it. You do seek the help of a licensed psychologist, psychiatrist, or counselor. Learning to accept who you are is the aim of the approaches I will use with you.
